ARE YOU A FOODIE?
Students of Grades VI and VII will do a collaborative project with partner school in Indonesia and share the breakfast regime of India, Indonesia, Japan and Thailand thereby analyzing the ingredients of the food and its sources. Students will know about different food groups and the difference between healthy and not so healthy food. They will learn to appreciate diversity across borders and plan to collaborate beyond their own country. Their self- awareness, inter-personal, critical thinking and problem solving

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS The activity was aimed to learn the significance of festival of lights celebrated in India, China, Israel and Spain and appreciate the international uniqueness of these festivals. After the completion of the activity, the students came to know how different countries have their own festival of light. They also came to know that India being a multi-religious country, people of different religion celebrate different festival of light.  We all enjoyed the course of the activity and also got to learn a lot about different countries.   This is a brief description of all the activities that were conducted under this project.  POWER POINT PRESENTATION ON THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHT. 2. OUR CULTURE THEIR CULTURE This project will help students of Grade I and II to develop and appreciate the cultural plurality and diversity across  borders. Students will study about the countries- India, Spain, Japan and France about their different dance forms, traditional costumes and greetings. This series of activities will develop their communication skills, creativity, imagination and citizenship. 1.
