PROJECT - TWO BOONS OF NATURE Students of Grade VIII did a comparative study of the production of the natural resources – coal and petroleum in India and USA. They learnt about the availability and production capacity of coal and petroleum of these two countries. Students developed a sense of responsibility and the capacity to make right choices for sustainability. Their analytical and critical thinking skills were also developed. The various activities under the project are listed below. PROJECT – HOUSES AROUND THE WORLD This activity for Grade V aimed to study about and compare the types of houses in India, Norway, Thailand and Egypt. Students learned about the different factors affecting the types of houses built in different countries and the types of material used for making the houses. Students developed a scientific approach and plan to collaborate beyond their own country. Students also developed their analytical, creative and reasoning skills. The various activities under the project were as follows.
